What is insurance excess?
An insurance excess is the amount you are responsible to pay if the rental vansustains any damage whilst in your possession.
How much is insurance excess?
Insurance excess depends on a range of variables: your age, driving history, and size of the Volkswagen commercial vehicle.
The driver is liable for any loss or damage sustained to their VW van rental as well as any third party claims. The van rental deposit can be used to cover your insurance excess but only in the event of an OWN fault accident claim, or in the event the vehicle is returned with new damage which repair cost falls below the insurance excess.
